Took a little road trip with my friend, Andrea, two weekends ago for her birthday!
We didn’t check the weather…an ice storm was headed our way but that didn’t stop us! Fearless are we! Ran through Milwaukee and stopped off at the Milwaukee Art Museum. I’ve been to this city multiple times already. I’ve taken pictures of the art museum and everything but never went inside. It was beautiful!
We stayed for about an hour and explored and checked out some of the exhibits. It wasn’t crowded either because of the weather and the fact that is was a Sunday and 2 hours before closing.
Before heading out I was able to capture these awesome shots of the sunset over the bay.
On the road again (in my country voice). Madison here we come. We stayed overnight at the Hilton Madison Monona Terrace. We checked in, got her free birthday drink tickets and headed out to get some grub.
Apparently everyone else knew about the weather AND there was a Packers game going on…we were never gonna win.
The concierge gave us some suggestions and we ended up at Johnny Delmonico’s! I’m not really a steak person but this place was amazing and we basically had the place to ourselves because of the weather and the game. I’ll take it. But let’s talk about this dessert piece they had. Cause really that’s the only important thing about this whole weekend LOL. Apple Crumble. To. Die. For. Here’s the description:
I mean…right?! I don’t even have to say anymore.
